Pictures

Pictures from the 2010 Wavemaker's swim season are now available online, please follow this link. This is currently a private viewing area that you can only get to by following this link, so as to prevent "the random public" from viewing. However, you may forward this link to anyone you wish via e-mail so that they may also view the photos.

In organizing the pictures, many of the pictures are organized by swim meet or by event, or by category (i.e. "Coaches" or "Officials", etc.) I also tried to make some separate directories for a few of the swim team families who's kids I can recognize (or think I can..). However, it's likely that you may find a few pictures in the family folders that are not your kid, so let me know if that's the case so I can correct it. It's just as likely that you will find pictures of your kid in the general directories that were not moved into the family directories. My apologies for not recognizing more kids, but I do well to recognize my own kids when they have on swim caps and goggles! For pictures in the family directories, the photo files themselves will have date information in them that most viewers will display for you, so you can tell which meet they came from.

For what it's worth, I am using the free Google application called Picasa to share the pictures online, as well as to organize them on my computer and to generate the year end slide show (which is also available online as part of the Picasa album). This application makes is easy for me to synchronize my local albums with the web versions, and I highly recommend looking at it of you have not. You should be able to sync between your own local Picasa database and my online albums, if you'd like to. While I did crop or otherwise edit a fair number of the pictures, I left many just as they came off the camera, so you may want to do your own editting to some of these.

The actual pictures that were used in the slide show can be found in the album title "Wavemakers 2010" (or follow this link). If you use Picasa to grab the pictures yourself, you will find that you can re-edit the originals, i.e. changing the cropping that I did, etc. to better suit your preferences. Or, you can export the edited version of the picture to your computer.

If anyone needs help getting or viewing the pictures, please let me know.
