The Wavemakers Swim Team is associated with the Lakota Hills Swim Club.  Swimmers range in age from 5 to 18, with all abilities welcome.  All team swimmers must be full members of the pool.  The pool has limited membership and may have a waiting list to join.  We have a 6-lane competition pool, with both a diving well and shallow well.  Feel free to inquire for more information at the Lakota Hills Swim Club web site.

We are a member of the 13-team Tri-County Swim League, one of the oldest and largest swim leagues in the Cincinnati area.  We are typically one of the largest teams in the league, with roughly 170 swimmers participating this past season (because of this, we usually have the largest coaching staff in the league as well).  We have always finished in the top 5 teams at the Championship meet, which puts us in competition with the top teams in the league.  All of our coaches are past or present Wavemaker's swimmers themselves, and while some of our team members have swam for the team for many years, we have a lot of novice swimmers as well.

We generally start practicing the week before Memorial Day, and the season concludes with the Tri-County League Championship at the end of July.  Prior to the end of school, practices are run in 3 sessions after school (the pool is heated, and so is generally comfortable by the end of May).  Once school is out, the 3 practices are in the morning, with the High School age kids being earliest and small kids last.
